Ceremony Elements
Different elements make up each ceremony. Here are some of the elements you need and some that you may choose to have incorporated within your ceremony.
Legal Wording and Documentation
In order to make your marriage legal according to law in Australia we will need to say some very specific legal vows and sign some legal documents with 2 official witnesses during the ceremony.
I will guide you through the required wording and document requirements.
Acknowledgement of Country
You may wish to begin your ceremony by acknowledging the traditional Aboriginal land owners of that region. I will research and identify the people of the region to acknowledge during the start of the ceremony.
Personalised Incense
As a part of my practice I can offer to create some personalised incense to burn during your ceremony. I will also gift the newlyweds with a small tin of the personalised incense to take as a keepsake of the day. You may wish to burn the incense at a later time to remind you of the ceremony.
Polaroid Moments
As we embark on your path to married life together, I’d like to document each of our meetings with a Polaroid moment.
We will finish the journey at the signing table with a “Just Married” shot to complete the set. You will get to keep the Polaroid momento at the end of the ceremony as a reminder of the whole process.
